All laid out on the table were new IDs, fresh from the forger. Brad Larson, DOB 17 Apr 1973; Cole Tamblyn, DOB 19 Jul 1976; and Erica Hobar, DOB 14 Nov 1978 to be used by Mike, Jesse and Fiona respectively. Fiona handed Sam his new passport and he hit the roof – "Randy Weemes! What the heck kinda name is that? What happened to Chuck Finley – my lucky name?" And he demanded that absolutely no one call him "randy" until they were out of the country.  They would shortly be on their way to "a hut in the Dominican Republic"; but when Elsa arrived with some "supplies" for Sam, they saw that they were already being boxed in by Riley's troops. Sam borrowed Elsa's car and told her to tell Riley that she never knew Sam and he had stolen their car. Mike was driving and they barely made it through a heavy equipment barricade, but at least the car was still drivable. It was Fiona's ID guy who had ratted them out so now their IDs were worthless and the only one who might help them was – Sam's "buddy" Dixon… and he wasn't happy. With a little blackmail, Dixon did take them all to the secret house of a smuggler buddy who was hiding out because he was in trouble. Under ordinary circumstances Colin Schmidt could smuggle anything or anybody. He boasted he could smuggle the queen of England wearing the crown jewels as a bikini past border security and nobody would bat an eye. Unfortunately, he had offended an ex-Syrian intelligence agent turned gun runner, Jabbar Hamady, who was now hunting him down; so, he refused to help them – at least until Mike overcame the flash-bang grenade thrown at him, chased Schmidt down, disarmed him, shot out his tire and told him they would assist with Hamady.

A year previous Schmidt had unwittingly helped the wife of Hamady with a new ID in order to escape abuse and now Hamady had taken out a fatwa against him, marking him for death. Hamady also had turned one of Schmidt's employees against him and was slowing overtaking his warehouses. He told them "if you guys get rid of Hamady I'll give you free passports, new identities and a free trip to wherever you wanna go." Sam immediately broke in that his new name would be: "Chuck Finley – non-negotiable." So, Schmidt became the closest thing to a "client" Michael has had in months. The plan was to con Hamady into coming to Schmidt's last warehouse where he would find Michael pretending to have been tied and tortured by Schmidt having been thought to be Hamady's mole. They didn’t tell Schmidt the details until the last minute because they knew he would whine about loosing everything he owned. Fiona taped Mike to a chair and burned him to look like he'd been tortured with a car battery. Hamady's men did do just as planned and Mike, pretending to be Brent Sodor, was taken to their headquarters in a Syrian restaurant where he offered to help locate Schmidt – he knew the address to Schmidt's house.

Meanwhile Madeline was playing counter-spy watching all the suits-and-glasses guys around Michael's burned loft and in her driveway. Eventually, however, Riley dropped the subterfuge and just came to her front door. She bullied her way into the house and didn't even try to hide the fact that her people were planting bugs and searching her house. She also demanded that Madeline sign a document stating she would cooperate in the investigation and said "if you violate this document in any way – you'll be looking at life in prison." So, Madeline gave the "meeting signal" – a rake propped up against the garage. "Why did she give the meeting signal?" asked Sam and Jesse replied "I don't know. It's a rake. It didn't come with sub-titles."  On the way to the meeting Madeline drove excruciatingly slow to annoy her tail. Then, after lingering at a stop sign she bolted and barely made a revolving draw-bridge. She told the delayed Fiona that she was worried they didn't get her message, "a problem when you communicate with garden tools." When she told about Riley's bug Fiona theorized that Riley had been trying to goad her into communicating; then, gave her a burner-cell to use only after she had left her house. The worried Madeline remembered that Michael had just disappeared without saying goodbye before and begged a promise that Fiona wouldn't do that to her.

Back at Schmidt's house, the guy was hysterical about the next part of the plan: to bring Hamady to his house to be captured by the police. "Why am I just hearing about this now?" he screamed. "Because we knew you'd get all whiney on us," Sam replied. Waiting for Hamady to show up, Sam asked Jesse where he was going to go afterwards and suggested Antigua. Jesse shot back "absolutely not" and said that the "whole West Indies" was off limits because of "all kinds of craziness" with a girl he had dated there – and not the good kind of crazy. Jesse promised that if they ever got out of the US alive he would tell Sam all about it. Instead Schmidt, who was supposed to be in a motel, called them frantic from the warehouse. Hamady's men had seen him and were trying to bust in; which they did while Schmidt was on the phone. Mike watched as Hamady brought the bleeding Schmidt into their hangout.

Hamady tried to torture his ex-wife's whereabouts out of Schmidt with a hot knife while Mike watched. On the cuff, Mike formulated "plan B." He advised that Schmidt already knew he was going to die so would just tell lies till he bled to death. Mike suggested that they use Suxamethonium Cloride (claiming it was a hypnotic sedative - truth serum) and that he knew a guy who could get it for them within the hour.  Hamady agreed and Mike called Sam talking in "code." "That's not a truth serum," Sam told him "That's a poison. You want him to die?" "Exactly," Mike said "I think that's the only way we get what we want here." "If you're doing what I think you're doing we're gonna need an ambulance," Sam said. "Oh, I think you read my mind," Mike responded "how soon can you get here." Sam advised Jesse and Fiona of Mike's plan and warned "with this Suxamethonium Cloride, five or six minutes in and you're dead for real." The only person they knew who had an ambulance was Fiona's old boyfriend Campbell and Fiona rolled her eyes in dismay.

Mike feigned that the drug worked better in the cold so was allowed to take Schmidt into the cooler where he was able to tell Schmidt to resist the drug for only a little then tell where the girl was. Schmidt emphatically demanded to know what the drug did, so Mike told him bluntly that it was going to paralyze his whole body and stop him from breathing. "You know what?" Schmidt whined "I need to un-know that." Sam came with Campbell's ambulance and Schmidt revealed "She's in Nicosia Cyprus under the name of Yasmine Sadek." While Hamady delayed trying to verify the information Sam had to feign that Schmidt was having an allergic reaction to the drug and they watched him pass out from not breathing. Sam pronounced him "dead" and nobody double-checked. Hamady agreed to Sam's plan to take Schmidt's body back to the hospital and dump it in the incinerator. In the ambulance, it had been four minutes so Jesse and Sam needed to use cardioversion paddles to restart Schmidt's heart. Mike told Fi that they needed the biggest armed response they could get at Hamady's restaurant and she remembered the burner phone she had given Madeline. Mike called and asked Madeline to say out loud the name and address of the restaurant so Riley could hear on the bugs; then he threw the phone out the window.  When Schmidt finally opened his eyes, the first thing he asked was: "was I dead?" and Sam responded "do you really want to know?"  Schmidt back-tracked and said "no, I’m good," but Jesse couldn't resist telling him "yea, you were dead, just a little bit."

After the commercial we watched Riley sneak into Madeline's garage and confront her about finding a spy at an address instead of her son. Madeline feigned surprise and Riley threatened: "Next time you see your son, and we both know you will, tell him I'm coming for him (like he didn't already know that) and if you keep helping him I'm coming for you too." And back at Schmidt's house he was advising them that the terms of their arrangement now needed to be changed because they had completely destroyed all his assets. "You'll have to foot some of the bill," he advised, "depending on how many you want to go – the black George Clooney, the guy with the chin." Sam looked like he was troubled so Mike asked him if he was going to go. He said "I've got to think about that. I'll let you know."
